Built in Germany at the Framus Custom Shop in Markneukirchen, this instrument represents Framus’ highest tier of craftsmanship — handcrafted at the Masterbuilt level with a highly individualized approach to construction and finishing.
Unlike the standard production Earl Slick models, this example features a premium set-neck construction paired with a lightweight swamp ash body, resulting in exceptional resonance, sustain, and overall balance. The satin finish and aged hardware give the instrument a distinctly broken-in, old-world character while maintaining a refined modern feel.
Loaded with a pair of Seymour Duncan Custom Humbuckers, this guitar comfortably covers everything from articulate cleans and edge-of-breakup tones to heavier modern gain structures. The TonePros wraparound bridge and Schaller locking tuners provide outstanding tuning stability and intonation.
