Gibson L-30 1935
A beautiful 1935 Gibson L-30 archtop. A compact 14¾ inch body from the earliest years of the model. This guitar carries nearly a century of honest character and that unmistakable vintage Gibson voice. Born in the middle of the Great Depression, the L-30 was Gibson’s more affordable carved-top archtop option, built with genuine craftsmanship and built to last.
Carved spruce top with maple back and sides and a mahogany neck. Classic f-hole archtop design with a trapeze tailpiece and adjustable bridge. Original black lacquer finish with natural wear that tells its story, Plays beautifully and resonates with that dry, woody punch that only a pre-war archtop can deliver.
Upgraded with a K&K pickup for modern compatibility while preserving the original acoustic integrity. Plug it in and it opens up with a warm, organic tone that sits perfectly in jazz, blues, singer-songwriter sessions, or mic-less live performance.
