Steinbock Fine Instruments Starfall
**** SOLD ****
Each Steinbock guitar is conceived as a playable art piece, pairing striking visual design with exceptional musical clarity and response this is one of only a small number of non-commissioned spec instrumentscompleted each year, and it was featured at the 2025 La Conner Guitar Festival.
The pairing of Italian Alpine Spruce with marbled West African Ebony delivers a focused, articulate voice with excellent note separation and a strong fundamental. The spruce top provides controlled overtone content without excess bloom, while the ebony back and sides maintain clarity across the full register—making this an especially strong instrument for recording and detail-oriented playing.
A traditional dovetail neck joint, elevated fretboard, and carefully tuned body geometry give the guitar an immediate, responsive feel that translates subtle right-hand dynamics with ease.
Tasteful celestial-inspired details—most notably the “Starfall” rosette and constellation inlays—add visual depth without distracting from the instrument’s clean, elegant lines.
This is a refined, intentional build from a luthier whose background in repair and design is evident in every choice.
